This is would make a great gift for someone who enjoys engineering or figuring out how things function. I don’t think it’s for the ages 8 thru 12, it requires patience. I’m 33, it was hard to assemble since the instructions were vague and written in broken English. I was near done but I broke a part when putting the last pieces together.It’s definitely not a toy a kid could play with like if it was another hot wheel or regular tractor toy. It’s way to fragile and would break with not much force.It would be a great gift for like a teen who likes working with his hands or for an adult even who’s like a engineer. It’s nice enough to be a piece you can display in your house once finished. Even cooler is that it can be controlled with hydraulic system. I only gave it 4 stars because of the poor instructions and it nit really being a toy but more of a model to display and take good care of. Overall tho it’s of good quality.

This project was fun. The pieces were labeled and it was easy to assemble. The problem I had was with the length to cut the tubing wasnt exactly correct so I had to improvise to extend the tubing to where it had it’s intended full range of motion. Other than that it was a lot of fun learning about hydraulic systems and how they power modern day equipment. It’s a great great gift idea for anyone interested in science and technology. The added parts for transforming it between the different machines was great as well. That gave it added replay value.
