More plastic than the Tonka trucks that I had when I was a kid (60 years ago) but still very durable. Our 4 year old grandson has used his outside in the dirt and mud and has taken it to the beach where he’s even submerged it in the water. So even with the added plastic, it’s still a Tonka!

Haven’t received it yet but hopefully it’s it’s still the of the Tonker truck’s my 3 son’s absolutely loved the oldest 48 the twins 36 they all had there own set of trucks and they loved them now just bought 2 for my 5 month old grandson starting him on the right road ?

Purchased as an outside toy, but it’s more plastic than steel. The whole wheel system is plastic along with the dozer so it will be an inside toy as it’s not as durable as I was expecting. The price was still a good deal, even with it being mostly plastic. I kinda wish they wouldn’t advertise it as Steel.
