This is a fun bus that our preschooler loved, but the sound effects drove us bonkers and there’s no “off” switch. That said, if you can tolerate the noise or are willing to fiddle around to try to disable it, your school bus fan will love this toy.

The media could not be loaded. Β Lights work great, back door opens easily, bus itself is sturdy and pull back function works great. The speaker is too small for the volume they put in it and it makes it very staticky when it makes sound. The side door is a bit difficult to open. The stop sign, side door, and βside mirrorsβ arenβt as durable as the rest, but havenβt broken as of yet.I would recommend this but it also needs some improvements, at least with the sound issue.

My son adores this bus. I love that it lights up and has usable doors and even a hood that opens. The only thing that is weird is that it plays a really babyish song along with the lights. I wouldn’t suggest it for kids past 4 or 5, honestly the only reason it doesn’t bother my son is because he doesn’t know better. Any other kid would probably notice how out of place the song choice is for a “big kid toy”. Great and sturdy toy, though.

The media could not be loaded. Β First off, the main body of this bus is metal, which gives it a hefty, solid feeling. Itβll probably handle a good bit of playful crashing from little kids. From the windows on up it is plastic, but it still seems sturdy enough. The articulated features include a moving βStopβ sign, an opening hood, and opening doors on the back and one side. These all arrive taped closed, and I see why: the rear door on the one I received doesnβt really stay closed and tends to flop around a bit.The side doors are the biggest concern for me in terms of sturdiness. The mechanism for opening them is a little wonky, and I can imagine frustrated kids ending up breaking them off through force. The pull-back action is pretty strong, and the light and sound features are interesting, if not a little confusing. For some reason, the bus plays βIf Youβre Happy And You Know Itβ, and it makes the βblip-blipβ sound that most of us recognize as a car alarm being armed at the end.Kids who are into buses will love this, I just donβt know if some of the parts will survive a strong and determined 3-year-old.

I got this bus for my toddler son. TERRIBLE idea.Let me start off by saying that this toy bus is great quality. It has incredible details, and it’s a lot of fun to play with. It’s honestly pretty sturdy, BUT it’s not sturdy enough for toddlers. It’s better suited toward older children. (No stars will be deducted for this because the title clearly states that it’s for children ages four or older. I just failed to read that.)Anyway, my toddler son plays really rough with his toys. He was in love with this bus, and he was devastated when he accidentally destroyed it. He’s cried about it every day since I took it away from him. If you’re thinking about getting this for your toddler too, you may want to think again.

This is a very good quality diecast bus. My daughter absolutely loves it! The rear door is very loose and can come open easily, but the other doors are very snug and feels like they won’t fall off easily. This bus also makes sounds and has the pull-back motor. It’s really fun and you won’t be disappointed in it!I highly recommend this bus!
