My 2.5 year old plays with this under supervision. If your kid loves all things trucks, this is a great gift. It is not the kind of toy that can survive a trip down the slide at the park. The top “chrome” visor is weakly glued on. The gates surrounding the bed can pop off and back on. The grabber claw does pop out and it is definitely a chocking hazard. This is meant for older kids.To make it light up and sound, you need to push “up” on both of the front tires. This could be done by having it on a flat surface and pushing down on the front of the truck or if in your hand, by lifting both tires up into the wheel wells. The nubs on top of the hood are not buttons. It takes watch batteries, and those are “in” the engine.

We spent $90 on the large Bruder logging truck. 2.5 year old son had the side gates broken off of it in less than an hour. The Bruder would be a nice toy for an older child that knows how to be gentle with them. The action on it is a lot more precise but also not as tough.Bring in Driven. This thing is much smaller than we expected, but plenty large for a little one to have fun with. My son hasn’t broken anything on it (yet) and everything about it seems more durable. It’s also more intuitive for a little one. For example, the side rails fold down without any tricks. On the Bruder, you have to first lift up on the side rails or you’ll break them. And for $10! Wow! Thank you Driven. This is our 3rd toy from this brand and all have been great quality.

Great little log truck. My two boys love loading logs with the grapple. The only downside and this is with all Driven trucks this size not just this one, is that the hood of the truck always pops off. I’ve gotten to the point of just throwing the hoods away. It doesn’t affect play and it keeps the kids (and me) from getting frustrated with it. Great price for a log truck, not many options out there.

The truck arrived broken. The grapple was was cracked. Nonetheless my two boys still enjoy playing with it. I wanted to return it, but the kids are enjoying it too much to let me take it away.

Bought this for me nephew. I was surprised at how much I liked it and the quality for the price is great. I was looking for a different truck since he has many. He’s going to enjoy this.

My 3 year old has a lot of the Driven by Battat vehicles. They are great for the price, but I do wish the durability on some of them were better. The logging truck is really cool, but the gates make me nervous to withstand a 3 year old and the grabber pinches him sometimes as it is a little tough to maneuver, but overall its good for the price!
