This bus is adorable. It is easy for little hands to use and moves fairly quickly. The only downside is once it runs into the wall (literally the first time) the headlights are pushed inside the bus.

I would like to say my daughter and I loved this toy, but it just misses the mark on being a great toy. My daughter isn’t old enough to care, so I guess it’s all up to me. I have a number of gripes about this toy which prevents it from being great.Just like the other reviewers had mentioned, the headlights are very sketchy. After a few light crashes, they fell inside the housing. The drive assembly is geared too tall. Meaning it takes too long to accelerate, but once up to speed, it goes too fast for indoor play. The steering and turning radius is atrociously. Again not suitable for indoor play. The picture shows the STOP sign deployed, suggesting that it is a movable feature. But on the actual toy, it is glued fixed flat against the body.I had hoped the yellow and red lights on top, one of the most obvious and defining features of any school bus, would light up. But sadly they do not. There are a few good points though:The shape of it is just adorably cute.3 AA batteries seem to power this toy for quite a long time. We’ve been playing with it on and off for 3 days now and it’s still running on its first set of batteries.Because it goes so fast, and has such a short wheel base, this bus can drift on hard wood floors which is kind of fun to play with. The remote control makes sound effects. When you let off the throttle it makes what I can only guess the sound of air brakes – a hiss. But it sounds to me more like the blow-off from a turbo charger. Most folks hate that noise, but of course I am biased. Thus I think that’s neat.Over all, I think this is an OK toy although it has the potential to be so much better. I am a little disappointed by it, but my daughter seems to enjoy playing with it. Guess in the end that’s all that really matters.

I bought this for my 4 year old son last month and he loves it. It’s pretty zippy and I still haven’t had to change the batteries yet

We’ll know at Christmas.

Bought this for my 3 year old, he loves it, it did arrived before estimated time. For the money it’s a decent toy. There head light don’t shut off draining the batteries quickly and causing the bus to move slow when turning. Remote takes a 9V battery. It’s cheaply made but having said that my son enjoys playing with it. Easy to use for toddler, makes turning sounds and when going forward will play music.

My nephew has an obsession with buses and remote powered vehicles—best of both worlds! This is incredibly easy to use for a 2 year old and keeps him busy.

This was a total fail! I bought this for my sons birthday present as he loves school buses. Pulled it out of the box and it already had pieces loose and rattling inside. (That should have been my first clue and I should have just returned it right then but it was too late- He’s already seen the bus and wanted to play with it stat!)After only a few days of inside (adult supervised) play, the headlight fell off, the stop sign was broken, and it won’t go forwards, and only sometimes goes backwards. There’s just no excuse for this. It has been taken care of and wasn’t handled roughly.I am so glad we didn’t buy an extra to give a friend for a birthday gift (like I had planned) because house embarrassing to give a gift of such bad quality! Way too expensive for such a flimsy design. Don’t waste your money.
