   These are so cute! And so far, they have been good quality (and my boys really put them to the test). They are about the size of, or a bit larger than, regular matchbox cars. The paint jobs on them are pretty detailed for being so small. They’re made of sturdy metal, except for Mater’s boom and cables, which are made of rubber. I thought for sure that would get pulled off immediately, but it’s held strong. For the price, the quality and enjoyment we’ve gotten from them is worth it!

   These are the cars that started it all… my son’s car obsession (well, technically the movie started it all, but I digress). These are exactly what they are supposed to be: three cars from the original movie at an unbelievable price (<12$). I waited too long and they sold out/jumped way up in price, but I held out and waited until they came back in stock. Now I look mostly on eBay for Cars because that’s where you can find most of them for a very reasonable price. But if you’re eyeing these, get them. It’s the beginning of a beautiful relationship.

   My nephew came over and all I had for him to play with was one Lightening McQueen car. He told me he would like it if I got Mator, so I jumped on Amazon and came across this set. When my nephew came over he was happy with the new cars, and also told me the police car was “cool”. This is a nice set of cars. They are well made and as described. I do think they were a little pricey, which is why I only gave them 4 stars. I am happy with the purchase. My nephew is happy with the purchase and right now that’s really all I could ask for.

   The detail is incredible, there’s a nice weight to the cars, they don’t feel cheap or fragile at all. The pictures really don’t do it justice, you have to see it in person. Specifically, I love the detail they put into Mater, missing lights, different hubcaps, he really looks like a rough, old truck in an awesome way. I also really like how they made McQueen’s headlights look like stickers, which they mention in the movie! Super nice touches to make this set worth every penny. And honestly it’s a great price. I’ve seen the toys individually being sold close to this price, so it’s a great deal! Only thing that would make this set even better would be a nicer box, it’s just a brown cardboard box with the logo printed on. But that didn’t matter much to us, the toys are AWESOME and my toddler is super excited to have them.

   I am very happy with the quality, but very upset about how they delivered the package. Could they not have put the item box within a shipping box instead of plastering labels all over it. Anything for quickness!! This could have made for a nice collectors item one day. Of what value will it be now with shipping labels all over the box.If you are going to order this, I recommend calling customer service and demand they ship it properly.

   The media could not be loaded.  Bought extra cars for the mud track toy. Doc and Lightning both so well on the track. Mater is not weighted correctly and falls off the track if you put him facing forward. If you flip Mater backwards, he stays on the track (I guess he does love driving backwards in the movie anyways).The yellow car that comes with the mud racing track has little shocks on the wheels and these extra 3 do not, but they still seem to do just fine.I would recommend buying them as they are a good value overall and it’s fun to have multiple cars to race.

   Love the cars! Didn’t love the packaging! The cars are just slightly larger than hot wheels, a good and size for small kids. Very colorful and they appear to be sturdy and well made. My Grandson loved them. However, I bought these as a gift and they were in a clear plastic molded holder slipped into a brown cardboard box. He is 2 1/2 and he didn’t give a hoot about the presentation but I did. Could have been packaged better but that doesn’t take away from the product quality.
