   I ordered this a year ago for myself for Christmas! I am slow to write reviews, but decided this was one I had to do. Our kitchen was recently remodeled and it’s theme is a retro red and white look. Our cabinets have one set with glass doors. So naturally my VW bus is on display in my kitchen cabinet! The details on this Lego set are over the top in my opinion. It is so lifelike. I feel like the price was worth every dollar. I truly love it! I don’t remember if it was difficult to assemble, but I’m a 56 year old grandma and so if it was challenging, I must have figured it out! Thanks Lego! Great set!Revision: 12/15/15Awkward moment! I just now realized that I wrote this review for the wrong VW bus! This is obviously not the Lego model! I do love this bus. It doesn’t have all the detail that the one from Lego has, but it also doesn’t come with the price tag that Lego’s does. It does have a wonderful retro look. It also sits in my kitchen cupboard with the other one! We somehow have room for the plates and other dishes!I hope this helps!

   Using it in my under-tree Christmas village and it’s been a hit with kids and adults both. Looks nice and you can feel the quality when you handle it.
