I bought this transformers toy for a nephew who is 5 years old and obsessed with cars and trucks. He likes to call this transformer toy his “monster truck”. There aren’t any super small parts so no need to worry about choking hazards too much. The toy is easy to “transform” which my nephew loves because he can roll it across the floor while also changing the look of the trucks. Nephew is happy so I am happy!

I love when a toy engages kids and teaches them in the process. This STEM toy has our 5-year-old building and keeps him busy for long periods of time. And he loves robots and transformers. It might be a challenge for younger kids without help, but he can do it. It includes screwdrivers, which is nice. I would recommend it!

Five seemingly normal service trucks form Blitz the Transformer Keeper of the Earth. This is so cool. They come with a recycling bin that also transforms into a screwdriver so you can disassemble the trucks and change them into a mighty warrior bot. What more could you want. My son loves taking things apart and recombining them into new vehicles. This is perfect for him. The only thing I would be careful of is the screws are small enough that they would be easily swallowed. I’d only trust a kid old enough to know not to put non food items in their mouth. Other than that kids older than 4 would love something like this.

My 6 (almost 7) year old son loves to take things apart, even when he doesn’t know how to put them back together, so this set is hours of fun for him. While he doesn’t quite know how to follow the directions given, he knows how to take it all apart and put things back together even if it’s in creative or unintended ways. I think most 7 year old’s would be able to follow the directions if they tried. The directions are numbered – step 1, step 2 etc. My 9 yr old son was able to follow them and put it together correctly without assistance, but he does Lego often and loves STEM kits.

I like the transforming toys, it’s like having 2 toys in one and the kids love them. But this one is better because it’s multiple smaller trucks that combine to form a bigger robot. Think power ranges or voltron. The screwdriver component is great because it helps tiny hands develop motor skills. I really think this is a great toy and the kids have a lot of fun with it.

This toy is made very well with good details and helps introduce kids to screw drivers to take apart certain parts of the toy and to assemble to the transformer robot like. I was fascinated that the the little screw driver is a mini torque screw driver so you won’t over tighten. The details with this toy is very good and parts of it is metal and strong plastic. My 5 year old needed some guidance with the toy but once I showed him how to do it it was a piece of cake for him.EDIT:One problem I found after 1 week of use, the little screws do come loose very easily and may require an adult with a regular screw driver to tighten a bit more then the included screw driver.

I bought this for my friend’s son who is 5 years old,he was beyond excited when he opened the package for his birthday.They are very sturdy and well built.He enjoyed assembling it.He really likes the fact you build them vs just click them together to make the big “Robo combo” .Great buy.
