I got this set for my truck-happy four-year old and it has been a big hit, especially the crane. I love that it comes with a box that folds out to be the âconstruction siteâ. A couple trucks have interchangeable pieces to âtransformâ (as my kids say) between the roller, bulldozer, etc. They tend not to make much use of all the signs and barricades, but play with the trucks regularly. The only two downsides I can find are that the box can be a bit difficult to pry open, once itâs all folded and snapped together. I wish there was at least one spot on the top that could open easier for putting items away (or adding ones you find after youâve cleaned everything up, which inevitably happens). And, the strings on the crane tend to get wound around the sides of the track theyre on and get stuck. I frequently have to unwind and get them lined up again, but itâs not a huge hassle and because the set as a whole is so cool and so well designed, I couldnât bring myself to dock any points. Also, though the plastic seems pretty standard, I will say none of the trucks or pieces have broken so far (weâve had it for about a month). With two active boys under six, that is genuinely shocking and quite a nice surprise, ha ha!

I wrote a previous review stating this was not as pictured… well, turns out my husband just never brought this one out of his truck until yesterday. So, I am so sorry for the misleading review! If I can find it, Iâll take it down. Anyway, product IS as pictured, and very cool. I took off 1 star because it is not as well made as other iplay ilearn toys Iâve bought, and thatâs what I expected for the price, quality. It is more plastic and hardly any metal. The small trailer truck is an entirely different scale from the other items. The crane works, but could really use some stops and guides to keep little kids from tearing it all up. Overall, still a good set of toys!

It was very good. I was playing with it the first day. I liked how the trucks moved and you could attach different attachments onto the front loader. I liked how the crane works. I really like the box. It’s easy to store everything in the box.(Notes from Dad – My son bought this with some foldin’ money he had earned. I was very reluctant to let him buy it, thinking that for the price, this set was going to be very poor quality. He ignored my warnings, threw caution to the wind and ordered it anyway. And it’s very cool. Decent quality plastic. Just enough realistic movement. And it all stows away in its little box. He also bought some little plastic pallets and containers for the front end loader, and loves those as well.)

It was a gift for my grandson. He plays with it all the time. Heâs pretty careful with his toys but some pieces are not as durable as others. Iâm not disappointed about buying it but feel bad for him when a piece breaks.

The wrapping was tore apart Christmas morning by a ravenous 4 year old and her older siblings. Decorated paper was everywhere and so too was this present left unopened as it was not as shiny or large as some other gifts. Eventually it was opened and the youngest fell in love with it immediately. It was played with most of the day off and on, the crane was the favorite machine out of the bunch as it has actual function that allows it to rise up and down and lower it’s hook to pick things up all with just the levers on the crane. But as the days wore on, the excitement for the Blippi excavator song and the excavator toy wore off significantly and one day soon after the crane had its strings cut and ceased to be a crane any longer. The other pieces are now scattered across the plains never to be seen again. Cool toy while lasted though. Would be better if the strings on the crane were resistant to a child with safety scissors.

These toys are true to life while setting my grandson’s imagination in motion for hours of playtime sitting in the floor while playing and getting a better understanding of how things really work in the real world ?.

Canât beat the quality for the price! Test a few broke slightly but they held up better than some tots I pay twice as much for! The breaks were minor and the trucks are still useable so⊠yes Iâd recommend them. And have!
