We received our ryker today I do believe I was about as excited as my little boy for its arrival and had a pleasant surprise to find he is very heavy and solid diecast which should mean he should be very long lasting. He also almost completes out fore and rescue diecast collection just awaiting the new arrivals in stock!

Another great quality vehicle to add to our rapidly growing Cars / Planes collection. The body is mostly metal, with plastic accessories attached. The boom goes up and down, as well as rotates 360 degrees. Ryker is a bit larger than the other vehicles, which works well as he is larger in scale in the movie. He is a neat shape, and my boys really enjoy having him to interact with the other character vehicles.

This Mattel version of Ryker is much better than the Disney Store version- I’ve noticed Disney Store versions are being made with cheaper materials lately, including more plastic. The Mattel versions seem like they will hold up better especially if your little boys like to race and crash their vehicles during playtime. If you can find it at a non-inflated price, Ryker is a great die cast vehicle toy for your little Planes: Fire and Rescue fans.

Ryker is part of the Oversized, more expensive, set of vehicles from Planes Fire and Rescue. On the plus side, the vehicle looks amazing. Great detail and very colorful. He has a moving fire hose arm. Also, the wheels are great quality and he rolls very well. And Finally he is a heavy, so he feels like the heavy duty firetruck he is supposed to be.On the negative side, that’s it. This is a “premium” vehicle. What they think is premium is a moving arm and a little bigger than average. There are no other moving parts. There are no working lights. There are no sound clips. My son also collects Thomas the Train and with Thomas the smaller trains are standard and just roll, while the “premium” trains make sounds and most of them even light up. To see Ryker cost more than the average premium Thomas Train leaves a lot to be desired. However, that being said, the figure is still great and easily earns 4 stars. My son loves it and has been playing with it since Christmas.

Great deal and heavy duty fire truck. We have the red helicopter that has a working ‘winch’ and sliding door. I was happy to see this fire truck is the same great quality. It was also bigger then what I expect. I’m very happy with this purchase. My son is going to love it for Christmas!

My 5 year old LOVES this toy. His daddy is a fireman so fire trucks are a hot commodity in this house! π This looks just like the airport rescue fire trucks and he loves that its from the movie Planes. The size was such a nice surprise too! LARGE and well made. Great buy!

A great companion vehicle for the rest of the Disney Planes toys. I wish it was the same size as Pulaski and Lugsworth, but the kid doesn’t care so neither do I. The boom extends and is a little tough to get back in, so there is some concern that it could break, but the kid figured out and is pretty rough on it and not showing any issues yet.Again, a great toy! Highly recommend it!

My kid made me hunting for this toy! Crazy! But its worthy, he was super happy when he got it!
