Great simple RC truck for my 2YO son, who loves trucks. This is simple enough for him to use. He doesn’t use the reverse function much, he prefers to run after it and turn it and then send it on it’s way. The reverse has a cam system that makes it turn (like a 3-point-turn) but it only turns very slightly on carpet. On wood/tile, it makes great turns. Again not a big deal since my son runs after it and turns it by hand anyway. I do wish the second button was just a rotate (a long time ago my daughter had an RC truck that one button just rotated in place, really easy to use) but I can’t seem to find anything like that anymore.I recommend getting some rechargeable AAAs for the truck. We’ve had it a month and I’ve replaced the 4 AAAs in the truck at least 3x times. My son knows to turn the switch on, but never thinks to turn it off! The remote takes 2, and I’ve never had to replace them even though it’s been left on much of the time. If you’re ever not sure which of the 2 pieces has dead batteries–the truck will flash headlights when you turn the switch on. If you don’t see that, the truck is dead. There’s not a ton of power here–if you put something like a ball or a cup of water inside, it will go pretty slow. But hey it’s a pretty durable and affordable truck that survives the abuse of a toddler. A great deal all around.

They all want one for Xmas. Boys and girls live this toy.

Take lots of batteries BUT my grandson (2 years old) loves it

This thing has the potential to be so amazing but idk who thought having the truck run on AAA batteries was a good idea. Lasts for about a day then has to be replaced. Why not AA or even C or D? It’s big enough… even the remote could have been with double A but triple A is fine for the remote… sorry but the constant replacement of batteries is crappy, expensive, AND not ecologically friendly.

I purchased this for my two year old grandson’s birthday. It seems very easy for a toddler to use. The remote control conveniently stores on top of the dump truck. The truck and remote use six AAA batteries.

This product is fine (for the price). Doesn’t do much, but for a 3.75 year old who has never had a remote controlled car, it was perfect for indoors and outdoors. The only thing that was annoying was the description was wrong so I had to rush to the store to get batteries when it arrived. It states 2 AAA and 3 AA (or the other way around). But it is actually 6 AAA. So there you go. This is only for the dump truck version.

Sent it back. In the first hour it worked then stopped. Next day it worked then stopped.

The pictures in the listing make this truck seem much larger than it actually is. It’s closer to the size of a loaf of bread than it is the size of the child in the pictures. Also, the wheels barely turn. Had to put WD40 on them.
