From the reviews, I wasn’t expecting metal since everyone said they were plastic. My son is 2.5 and absolutely LOVED these planes. I used them as treats for him when he did something good (or bribery) and he would request them by color (ie if you do this, I’ll let you pick a plane). Fairly reasonable price, good selection of different sizes and colors, my son loved them, the wheels spun around on the planes, they worked great for our purpose.

Bought these for my nephew for his birthday, he is 8 and special needs and loves airplanes. They were small and poorly packaged but he enjoyed them. In fact all the kids there used them including a 3 and 4 year old and they did not break, but be aware they are small but for a plane lover who is over 5-6 years old.

This particular set contains twelve aircraft in six styles: Three 33-TO, three F-16, two F-15, two Stealth fighters, one Cessna propeller trainer, and one jet trainer. These are all military aircraft. The construction is a bottom plastic assembly with wings, rudders, and wheels riveted to a thin metal fuselage. Durability is fine for kids that take reasonable care of their toys. But these would not have lasted long in my childhood hands! The trainers are larger and do not have wheels. The other ten planes have two main wheels and a plastic stationary nose wheel. These are fine for use as party favors or for younger children that are not that particular. Older children and adults serious about collecting may want to consider other alternatives.

I purchased these as potty training incentives. They are both metal and plastic. Some planes have smalll plastic wheels, others have plastic half circles coming down from base to balance on. They are painted neatly. Would be cute as party favors or inexpensive toy like I used them. My two year old is not super rough on toys but has played with them for two days now with no damage or broken pieces.

Twelve airplanes for $6 – I wasn’t expecting much but my 4- and 7-year-old grandsons loved them and played together with them for a long time. I just wish there was a pack like this that was full of planes that aren’t jets. My boys are growing up at a skydiving center and to them, the best planes are Otters, Casas, Caravans, and Pacs. These are hard to find in toys.

Cheaply made, so totally in line with the quality you should expect when buying something for this low of a price! My son loves them, but I don’t expect them to last through the years.

I bought these for my sons 3rd birthday but didn’t end up giving them to him. The plane bodies are metal but the wings are all plastic. They do not seem durable enough to give to a 3yr old with an 18 month old little brother. The cost to return them wasn’t worth it, so I’m saving them for when they get older and aren’t so rough with toys.

Pretty good little planes. We were going on a plane ride, and I wanted to get some toys for my 2 year old. Figured planes would be good, but wanted something cheap enough that he could lose it and it didn’t matter. Not high quality planes, but for the price they are pretty good.
