I gave this a 5 star rating because after researching it online, looking over the overall ratings of Bruder Toys, I decided to give it a try for my 2 grandsons. I HAVE NOT SEEN them in use at the present, but took a chance on everything listed above.I will certainly give a better review once I see my grandsons playing with them, and how they hold up. If so, I will be buying more down the road. I like to give good quality toys that hold up to the test of time, and sometimes are able to be passed down.

Not sure if itβs just my kid or what but this is our second one of these toys in two monthsβ¦the body of it is great and absolutely realistic! He loves it because it looks exactly like his daddyβs. The issue is the arms that lifts the bucket. The two βjoistsβ that are plastic start to crack and eventually break. It can be βJerry riggedβ into a bulldozer withbsome rubber bands but that only lasts a few days until they break. When the final joint on the arms break they just fall off along with the bucket. Iβm currently looking for bulldozers instead of skid steers. I just donβt think there is going to be something realistic yet strong enough out there available. If you donβt have a powerful two year old who would play with this from dust βtil dawn then youβll probably be ok.

This is a quality plastic toy. My 3 year old loves it. Bucket detaches, arms hold position bit are movable, non locking, so he can run it fine. Great product.

He calls it βBobβ. He will share other vehicles such as his #2 favorite, the excavator, #3 smaller bobcat with wheels, mini bobcat, as well as a bulldozer, dump truck and backhoe. We have an area with tiny clean gravel

My kid has used it for most of his home repair projects and it has held up great. Still in good condition months after purchase.

I bought an off brand version for $25 and instantly regretted it. Then I bought this Bruder for $8 more and the kids love it. At first glance Bruder toys are expensive but the durability and attention to detail makes it worth it. Your kids will break any of these brands, but if they aren’t complete maniacs, they’ll get a lot of play out of the Bruders before they break them and even afterwards.
