This is the third Bruder truck I’ve purchased for my grandson. It all started with his frustration over the inability of his other trucks doors not opening. You have to check the model on Bruder trucks because only certain “series ” have doors that open. He lives opening the doors, looking inside, putting a driver in there, etc. Why have a door you can’t open? A well built addition to his fleet!

My 4 year old grandson asked Santa for a backhoe. But since they were going to be at my house we had to spring into action. He loved it and spent most of the day playing with it. He wanted to make sure mommy packed it to take home for him. Everything this company makes are quality pieces.

Purchased as a gift for my six year old grandson who couldn’t get it out of the box quick enough and has not left it alone since! Appears to be very well made and just what my grandson wanted!

Gave it to my 2.5 year old, he loves it but the arm-boom-bucket part could have been made a bit stronger. Had to buy a new part on the bruder service website.

The bad: the brackets that support the rear back hoe arm are very fragile and not durable for even light play in sand or loose dirt. There is also a small plastic pin that connects and moves the bucket when the arm goes up/down. This pin is tiny and is very fragile.Overall itβs an incredibly realistic toy and has lots of cool movements/functions but is just not durable for any kind of actual play outside or even rough play inside.

The media could not be loaded. Β PRO– the steering wheel controls the tires- there is a joy stick that moves which is fun to play with- size is relative to the tonka dump truck which was what my son wanted- space in the cab can fit a small 3 in toy- the doors open and close- movability/detachability/interactivity of the scoops/doctors/sunroof are very intriguing for young minds- tires are thick and durable- looks amazing, great for display and for older kids say 8-10yr oldsCONS–plastic-joystick plastic is thin and hinges break- the plastic silver/black rods keeping scoops secure detach easily and can be difficult to reassemble (they broke and snapped in half on the 2nd week)- not recommended for my playful child.Even with it broken now, it is still my son’s favorite toy, so I’m okay with the purchase. The interactive features outweigh the durability for him.

Breaks fairly easily. My son got obsessed with the Axel Show (super wholesome family vlogging and playing with their kids on YouTube) and we followed suit and started doing projects around the house/yard with his trucks. This is not worth the money if your kid is not meticulously gentle and protective over breakable toys. Just get some used to last off of offer up! Multiple hydraulics have broken, the backhoe arm is broken off, the bucket has a broken piece too. Very detailed and realistic, so itβs βcoolβ but not functional and wonβt last long with real play.
